Frequently Asked Questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). To cancel, go to your device's account settings → Subscriptions → Roadstep → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by Roadstep. Please request a refund through the App Store or Google Play Store. We cannot process refunds directly.
My progress is not showing up on another device. What should I do?
Make sure you are signed in to the same account on all your devices — your data syncs automatically in the background once you're logged in. If the issue persists, try signing out and back in, then contact us at info@roadstep.app.
How does AI task generation work?
When you create a goal or move to a new phase, Roadstep sends the goal and phase description to our AI backend, which returns a suggested roadmap or list of tasks. Only the text you enter for that goal/phase is sent — no personal identifiers.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the app settings page. All your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Note that this action is irreversible.
I found a bug. How do I report it?
Email us at info@roadstep.app with a short description of the bug, your device model, and OS version. Screenshots or screen recordings are very helpful. thank you
Is my data backed up?
Your goal and task data is stored locally on your device. We recommend enabling iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) backups in your device settings to prevent data loss if you switch devices.
Does Roadstep work offline?
Yes. The core goal-tracking and task management features work fully offline. An internet connection is required only for AI task generation and account authentication.
